Problems with Krakan hunting

I hope this is the right Topic for my question.
Every time when i go hunting for krakans in dungeons i ask myself if there is any way to keep the krakan near at the same position. I have the problem that at the end of the fight the krakan swim away and then i have no way to kill them or loot them. then i cannot place a boat in dungeon (Shame for example) to drive to the krakan.

does anyone have a Suggestion?

have a shrunk sea horse is always nice.. Then i guess peacemaking could do the trick?

Yeah, Krakens are a waste of time to hunt in Dungeons unless you find one that happens to spawn on land and cant move.

Ive tried to kill them from a boat on the open water and its impossible for me bc once they run, I cant keep up with them long enuff (mainly bc of having to direct the boat) to kill them off. And yes, I have UORudder. So I dont even bother trying anymore.

I tried hunting the Kraken that spawns at the Oceanic Coin Store bc its such a small water area and they cant run far, but half the time they die on top of rocks and its impossible to get your boat close enuff to loot them. All you can do is cast Tele to open the corpse and cry about the wasted time and lost O-Coins that you have no way of reaching.

Maybe a SeaHorse would solve this, but I dont have one. Yet...

I agree peacemaking would work because they stand still for a bit. i use it for taming.

thx. then i will try it with peacemaking. i will hunt krakans for MIBs but the are rare to drop

Peacemaking doesnt work. i have 115 at peacemaking but it fails at the krakan
