NewPlayerGuide / StatsSettingUpStrDexInt

Introduction

Strength (Str), Dexterity (Dex) and Intelligence (Int) are your Main Stats that determine a lot of other things like Hitpoints and many more. Depending on your
overall setup and gameplay (either playing a "Hybrid" Character or a "Pure Mage") you want to set up those Stats in specific ways. This Guide will cover your
possibilities, how to start and how to proceed!

Hybrid Characters

Hybrid Characters are the "normal" Standard Characters on Pandora. Since there is no Skill Cap basically each Character can do everything. This means a Hybrid
can use Melee Weapons, Range Weapons, he can cast Spells, be a Tamer and everything else. He is not as specialized like a "Pure Mage" though (see below). The
Main Stat of a Hybrid is Str, followed by Dex and then Int.

Pure Mages

Pure Mages are a specific subclass on Pandora, specialized on Spellcasting, therefore applying much more damage via Spells not only because of a higher
SDI (Spell Damage Increase) but also by applying Direct Damage via Spells due to "Spell Penetration" (a bonus achieved via high Intelligence) and stronger
effects of Debuffs, also because of higher Intelligence. So the Main Stat is Int, followed by Dex and then Str.

About the Stats

Any of these three Stats can determine certain other Stats of your Character. While they can be equally important not all of them can or have to be equally high.

Strength

This is the Main Stat of "Hybrid Characters" (see above) who primarily rely on Melee or Ranged Combat and secondarily on Spellcasting.
Str determines your carrying capacity, Hitpoints and damage.

Dexterity

This is a very important Stat, because it does not matter if you play a Hybrid or a Pure Mage: Dexterity determines your Stamina (which determines your Swing Speed),
the ability to successfully parry and your bandage speed.

Intelligence

This is the Main Stat of a Pure Mage. While Hybrids will have a very low Int Pure Mages rely heavily on this Stat. Int determines your Mana and the use of the Skill
Meditation, is part of several Spellcasting calculations and - if high enough - will influence the power of the Debuffs you are casting (only effective with a Pure Mage).

Training your Stats

You train all three Stats by using Skills that are directly connected to one or even two of these. Magery raises Intelligence, while Combat Skills will raise Strength
and/or Dexterity and so forth.
In your Status you see arrows next to your Stats. You can set those up or down to raise or lower a Stat while raising or lowering another! There you can also lock a Stat, so
it won't be trained further - to raise other Stats.

Connected Skills

In order to train your Stats you have to use specific Skills that are connected to these Stats, as described above. The following list will help you train your Stats in
a fast and efficient way:

Strength
Swordsmanship, Mace Fighting, Wrestling, Lumberjacking, Resisting Spells, Tactics

Dexterity
Archery, Fencing, Throwing, Parrying, Musicianship

Intelligence
Magery, Healing, Inscription, Spirit Speak, Meditation, Arms Lore

Caps, Base Stats, Stat Scrolls and Stat Balls

While each of the individual Stats has no cap and you can further raise them via Imbuing or Artifacts, there is a total Base Cap:
This means that, individually, each Stat can theoretically be raised forever, if you find certain Artifacts or use Imbuing to enhance your gear, there is
a cap that limits the total sum of all three stats together - but only the base value.
This will be explained in the following section.

Base Stats and Caps

If you use the command [mystats in game you will get an information about several important Stats, including Str, Dex and Int.
The first number is your Base Stat, followed by the bonus via Items/Artifacts and Imbuing.
For example:
Dexterity 53 + 71
53 is the Base, 71 is the bonus via Items/Artifacts and Imbuing. Both numbers together is the total value of your Stat.
The Base Stats have a total cap of 340. This means all three base Stats from Str, Dex and Int added up cannot go higher than 340!

This means you can raise each individual Stat as high as you want or can, but the BASE NUMBERS of all Stats together cannot go higher than a certain amount: 340.

Stat Scrolls

While training your Stats you can raise the total base cap of all three Stats combined up to 340 via Stat Scrolls, obtainable by killing The Harrower.
There are the following Stat Scrolls: +10, +15, +20, +25, +30 from the Harrower and +35 from the Infested Harrower.

Stat Ball

To use a Stat Ball double click it, then set your Stats in the menu that pops up on your screen. Do not use a Stat Ball too early on - make sure you have
fully trained your Stats and obtained all available Stat Scrolls.
You can also get a Stat Ball for 1 Pbuck in the Donation Store!

Raising Stats with Imbuing and Artifacts

You can raise each Stat by collecting Artifacts such as specific armor, spellbooks or jewellery and/or using Imbuing to enhance your items. As described
the bonus you receive per Stat will obviously raise your Str, Dex or Int and there is no cap - there is only the base cap as described!

Applying Str, Dex, Int via Imbuing

You can apply all three Stats on Jewellery (Earrings, Bracelets, Necklaces and Rings) and Talismans via Imbuing. The bonus per Stat and item is +15.

Setting up your Stats

Once you have decided if you want to play a Hybrid Character or Pure Mage and once you have used all Stat Scrolls, obtained some Artifacts and did some Imbuing
you can use a Stat Ball to set up your Stats as your gameplay or "subclass" (Pure Mages) requires.
Double click the Stat Ball, then a menu will open. There you set your BASE STATS, so keep in mind that each bonus from Artifacts and Imbuing is not included in these
numbers, it is just the basic numbers you can also check with [mystats in the game, the first number (as described earlier).

The total sum of the BASE STATS cannot go higher than 340 if you used all Stat Scrolls. Make sure you used them all!

For Hybrid Characters

1. Set your BASE INT to 10
2. Set your TOTAL DEX (Base + Bonus by Artifacts and Imbuing) to 217
3. Put all remaining points on STR!

For Pure Mages

1. Set your TOTAL DEX (Base + Bonus by Artifacts and Imbuing) to something between 220 and 235
2. Set your TOTAL INT (Base + Bonus by Artifacts such as Obsidian Spellbook from Infested Doom and Arrow Breaker Shield from Infested Paragon and Imbuing) to
ATLEAST 400 for full Spell Penetration, preferably to something between 410 and 445!
3. Put all remaining points on STR!

Stats on Clothing

You can also add Str, Dex and Int on each of your Clothing Items. If you do this, count this in when doing your calculations!
You can add Stats on Clothing via Donation or by using Void Pool Rewards.

Stats on Clothing via Donation

How to do

You can add 6 points in each Stat on each of your Clothing Items. So each piece can have 6 Str, 6 Dex and 6 Int via Donation. It will
"overwrite" any existing Stats, so for example if you have already Str 3 on an item it will turn to 6 if you add 6 Str.
Simply finish your donation to the server, claim your Pandora Bucks as described on the Website, then put the amount of Pbucks and the item
into your backpack. Then message King_Kon or GM NollKoll in Discord or in the game (perhaps with a page) and tell them what you want. They will
get back to you and add the Stats for you.

About Donations

If you donate to the Server via the Website you will receive Pandora Bucks (PBucks) in a ratio of 1:1 plus a 10% Bonus.
Pandora is 100% free but Donations help to maintain the Server, Website and Wiki.
If you have any questions considering your donation please contact King_Kon in a private message on Discord. Everything will be
handled in a discrete and professional manner! Thank you!

Stats on Clothing via Void Pool Rewards

By obtaining Void Pool Reward Points you can claim several Artifacts and Rewards, including Deeds to add Stats on Clothing Items. You can
add 3 points in each Stat on each of your Clothing Items. So each piece can have 3 Str, 3 Dex and 3 Int via Void Pool Rewards. It will overwrite
any existing Stat that is lower than the respective Deed says.

How to do

If you have Void Pool Reward Points by defending the Void Pool during the running Void Pool Event you can go to Trammel Cove via Moongate and buy these
Deeds at the NPC that is standing right at the Moongate. You can also check other Artifacts and Rewards there on display.
Click and buy the Deeds at the NPC. Please read the "manual" on the Deeds carefully:
You can only add Stats on a Clothing Item that is Tier 5. After applying the Deed the Stat will be on the Item but the Item will turn to Tier 0, without
losing its Stats and Runeslots. You have to tier the Item again in order to add the next Deed.
Also you have to add the Stats in order: You have to add +1 to be able to add +2 and so forth.
The Stats on these Deeds and their values come randomly: So it will be either Str, Dex or Int and the bonus is also random.
