PandoraLore / OceanicCoinMobs

Introduction

To obtain "Oceanic Coins" you have to kill the monsters dropping them, the Oceanic Coin Mobs (Ocoin Mobs).

Some of these creatures drop Oceanic Coins as their main loot, others (some Peerless and some Named Monsters) drop them as a bonus to their main loot.

You can check what you can purchase with Oceanic Coins here: Sea Coin System

The following Guide will just show you those creatures and some information about their nature!

Locations

While one species can be found on water/ocean and some others have to be summoned and spawn in special locations, others just spawn randomly on or close to water, some also in dungeons and other places. Check the following list for more details.

Ocoins

Ocoins will be in the corpses of killed creatures. Spend Ocoins at the Oceanic Docks (Moongate -> High Seas -> Oceanic Coin Docks).
Double-click the Fish to get the menu.

List of Oceanic Coin Mobs

The following lists will show you monsters who can drop OCoins.

Oceanic Coin Mobs

These monsters drop Oceanic Coins as their main loot.

KRAKEN

This monster is an easy kill, although it has a decent amount of hitpoints and also deals a good amount of damage. You can kill it while on a boat or sea horse and also from land. They will follow you to the shore, being able to attack you if you are in melee range. They spawn randomly on water/ocean. You can also summon them on deep water with a Special Fishing Net, dropping from the same species and also Kathooloo (see: Pandora Coin Mobs).

Loot:
1 to 6 Oceanic Coins, Special Fishing Net, Message in a Bottle, Holy Mackerel

Slayer:
none

SOUTHERN DOLPHIN

The southern dolphin spawns only on water/ocean and he is not able to move on land. It is not hard to kill him, but you will lose karma when he dies.

Loot:
1 to 3 Oceanic Coins

Slayer:
none

SEA SPIDER

The sea spider spawns on or close to water. It can move on water and land. The creature uses paralyzing attacks that will temporarily make you unable to move or attack.

Loot:
1 to 2 Oceanic Coins, Potions

Slayer:
possible Spider, Arachnid (has to be confirmed)

POSEIDON'S LIMB

Poseidon's Limbs spawn close to Poseidon (see: Named Monsters), close to water and/or beaches. They also spawn at Poseidon's Beach (Ilshenar), in the Ankh Dungeon (Ilshenar) and in Buccaneer's Den (Felucca).
They are hard to kill and do high damage, including heavy poisoning attacks. Use a pet, keep distance. If they spawn as Paragons you might be very careful.

Loot:
4 to 5 Oceanic Coins

Slayer:
Snake, Reptile

OCEANIC ZEALOT AND OTHERS

(image will follow soon)

Oceanic Zealots always spawn together with their companions. Some of them use Special Moves like Mortal Strike or Disarm. They are very fast and some are hard to kill.
They spawn in groups on waters in Ilshenar, also close to Poseidon's Beach.

Loot:
3 to 20 Oceanic Coins

Slayer:
possibly Repond, has to be confirmed

GLACIER ELEMENTAL

(image will follow soon)

Glacier Elementals spawn on waters in Ilshenar, often in the company of Oceanic Zealots and their companions. These Elementals are very fast, deal high damage

Loot:
5 to 12 Oceanic Coins

Slayer:
